Check the spelling of your text to make sure that it is error free. This will guarantee you the most correct and accurate translation. You can check spelling in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Ukrainian languages.
Click inside a desired text-area to select text that you want to proof.
Click on
or
icon to activate the spell-checker. The spell-checker does not support an automatic language detection. By default, ImTranslator chooses the language according to the selected language pair.
For example, if the language combination for translation is English-Russian, then the spell-checker language for the source window is English and for the target window is Russian. You can suggest the language of the text manually via the Dictionary Language dropdown box inside the speller dialog box.
The spell-checking dialog will flag in bold misspelled words and provide a list of suggestions.
In case of a mixed text, you can change the spelling language on-the-fly from the Dictionary Language dropdown box and continue the spell-checking session.
The Options button allows you to set spell-checking options that affect the way the spell-checker works.
The Add to Dictionary option allows you add unknown words to the user dictionary which is stored in cookies on your computer.
If you check the Auto function on the tools panel, the spellchecker will run automatically if spelling errors are detected during translation.
The Spell-checker toolbar has the following buttons:
Copy - Copy content of the text area.
Paste - Paste content to the text area.
Cut - Cut content of the text area.
Delete - Clear content of the text area.
Keyboard - Open the Virtual Keyboard.
