- What is Russian Transliteration?

ImTranslator includes the transliteration module for Russian language. It represents the Russian text with Latin characters (transliterate) in order to facilitate the transmission of the Russian message via the Internet. The transliteration module uses a conversion table especially adapted for the translation needs. The transliteration table is located on the server and is automatically updated when needed. To translate your message from any language into Russian and send it out in a transliterated form, check mark the option “auto Decoder” on the tools panel. During the translation your message will be converted into a transliterated form. If you received a Russian message written in Latin characters (transliterated) and want to translate it into your language, Decoder will do this job for you. Just make sure the auto Decoder option is checked.

- How to use Auto functions?

The Auto functions if checked, automatically performs the following task: Enables Decoder that determines the text in Russian language and converts it, if needed, into the standard Cyrillic Windows encoding. Decoder can also be used to convert the Russian text into Latin characters (transliterate). Note: The Auto Decoder function is available for the Russian language only.
