@promt 7.0 Translator, Tutorial Part 6.

Aug 13th, 2007 by Julia

@promt Standalone Electronic Dictionary enlarged database contains up to 1,000,000 word combinations and enables quick translation of almost any word or phrase. The Electronic dictionary is a reference tool that combines the entire PROMT specialized dictionaries database.

The Dictionary provides the access to the grammar and morphological information of each selected word and can be integrated into MS Word 97/2000/XP via Tools->Options menu.

Using resized version

PROMT Electronic Dictionary can be resized to the ED Light mode.

Select View-> Switch to ED Light mode. With the right-click on the word, you can see its context menu with the options of copying the word to the Clipboard or viewing all of the word forms.

The left-click on the word will display word-related grammar information.

The Electronic dictionary database can be supplemented with the user dictionary, if you have built one. Use Customize ED Dictionaries program to add the user dictionary to the ED database and create an alphabetical list of the attached dictionaries.
